General Information
There are many different types of accommodation to choose from for your stay in Latvia. The largest and most important of them which includes a high level of comfort and service, are concentrated in Riga and Jurmala.
You can stay in a modern hotel or SPA hotel. An increasing number of guesthouses are now available. The country also has youth hostels and camping sites. Recently, many new private hotels and guesthouses of different capacities and high service standards have appeared in other regions of the country - Kurzeme, Vidzeme, Zemgale and Latgale. The reconstruction of old hotels and the adaptation of the architectural heritage for tourist accommodation are becoming widespread.
