Important Information about purchasing an IE domain name: -

Unlike first-come-first-served domains, such as .COM or .CO.UK domains, the IE domains can only be issued to people or organisations that have an apparent right to the domain name (i.e. a limited companies actual name or a registered business/trading name).

It is normally required that you provide proof of your right to purchase a IE domain - if you are purchasing on behalf of a Limited company you will only have to supply the companies registration number and if you are a sole trading individual you will have to fax us a copy of your trading name certificate or a recient bank statement.
