Once your account is operational you will be able to accept credit card payments from around the globe. Unlike Paypal Worldpay is also compatible will all major Irish banking institutions.

CSERVER dedicated RedHat linux hosting in beta testing
CSERVER hosting now in BETA testing - will retail for EUR 400 / year

Rivertower is beta testing a new Linux server hosting product. Many "power users" that need dedicated root-access Linux server hosting - without the normally high costs attached will be interested in this product which is expected to retail for EUR € 400 per year (RedHat Linux 8, 128Mbytes RAM, 5Gbytes RAID-1 diskspace). Selected individuals are currently beta testing this product but, testing going well, it is expected to be available publically within a short amount of time. Interested parties can register their interest in this product now.

Rivertower splits its two core business divisions.
Rivertower made the decision to split their two core business divisions into two seperate organisations. These two organisations are now known as Rivertower Hosting (web site at http://www.rivertowerhosting.com) and Rivertower Marketing (web site at http://www.rivertowermarketing.com. The Rivertower Group also has their central web site at http://www.rivertowergroup.com, their European site http://www.rivertower.ie and their US site http://www.rivertower.us.

You can now track any Fault Queries or view any ongoing or historical Order Status by visiting http://www.rivertower.ie/tags. This service allows our Operations Center (Mount Street, Dublin) internally manage jobs with much greater ease and also keeps our Customers automatically updated with any status updates.

Rivertower Incorporates Virus Scanning into our Email Servers.
Rivertower's email servers now scanning all incoming email for all known Viruses. We are using the "AmaVis" unix based software packing for email interception and scanning. All industry standard compression types (e.g. Zip, GZip, Tar) are recognised and any file attachments, as well as the emails themselves, are scanned for viruses. (note that this is not a reason to not have a Virus scanning package installed yourself!).
